News Flash! - $100M Relief Funding for Small Businesses
Just revealed! Senator Bryant Richardson, along with Representative Rich Collins, offered a $100M small business COVID relief legislative package by co-sponsoring HB358 back on June 26, 2020. These funds come from the Federal CARES Act. The bill died while awaiting action in the House Administration Committee.
Governor Carney then announces, in MID-AUGUST, a new grant program promising $100 million to assist Delaware small businesses and non-profit organizations affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Of course, we don't know how Governor Carney came up with that idea, do we?
At least we know who always has Small Business Interests at heart. Vote for Bryant Richardson for Governor!
